Lunch Session: Isolationism vs Globalization: where does EM fit into the new world order,
Mike Reynal, Sophus Capital

Is globalization over – and what is globalization anyway? How do we measure it? Who benefits from the trade wars that the USA has launched? Why is the USA, champion of free trade and capitalism, doing this? What are some of the advantages to a trade deal for both China and the US? So is this leading to a regionalization of economic activity? What does this mean for Emerging Markets? How have Emerging Markets changed over the last quarter century and how does EM, particularly China, fit in the new world order?

Join Michael Reynal, CIO of Sophus Capital, as he discusses this and other relevant and timely topics on the Emerging Markets. What are the current themes across all of Emerging Markets and the inefficiencies that can be exploited by investors? How will the addition of China A shares influence the opportunity set….are they investable and what are their unique characteristics?

General Session: Extreme Leadership, Allison Levine

You can't control the environment; only the way you react to it. Alison Levine makes a compelling case that the principles that lead to success in the world of extreme adventure also apply to everyday settings--in business and in life. Levine draws authentic parallels between the mountains and the uncontrollable environments that people deal with every day -- at work, at home, and in their communities. Set against the backdrop of her remarkable expeditions, Levine's presentations provide a framework to help people scale whatever big peaks they aspire to climb (be they literal or figurative) by offering practical, humorous, and often unorthodox advice about how to take risks, improve teamwork and deal with changing environments. Her breathtaking visuals and tales of survival will educate, entertain and inspire attendees to reach new heights.
